RYA Safety Boat Course
Course Overview:
The aim of this course is to introduce the techniques used in powerboats escorting fleets of dinghies, windsurfers and canoes, providing safety cover for training fleets, and assisting in race management. Candidates must have an RYA Powerboat Level 2 certificate to be eligible for this course. It is also strongly advised by the RYA that members of any safety/rescue boat crew should hold a first aid certificate and VHF/SRC radio operators licence (both of which are available at the Centre.) Level: Intermediate
